Movietheque takes importance of yours data very seriously. Movietheque backups every save you do(of course not for forever :)), backuping schema is quite complex:
Movietheque saves automatically each 5 minutes, and when you exit the application.
Movietheque stores last 10 saves
Movietheque stores one save for every hour in which application was run for last 24 hours
Movietheque stores one save for every day in which application was run for last 31 days
Movietheque stores one save for every month in which application was run for last 12 month
Movietheque stores one save for every year in which application was run for forever
Movietheque automatically removes all obsolent saves which doesn't satisfy criteria above
Movietheque stores data in compressed format(zip - one quite large save file about 50KB), so maximum size of all saves(max 77 files + one save per year) should be around 10MB

Movietheque distinguishes you "main" data and temporary(friends) data, when you open new file using "File>Open file ..." your main data stays unchanged and when you press Save button only opened file will be updated. To completely import data for permanent use use "File>Import ..." instead.
