Ant movie catalog is perfect program, but there are two thing which i miss: more movies(divx) per one medium, and really fully usefull printing of covers, I simply really need side labels on dvd covers, maybe ant can do these things now, i didn't tried for some time, in that case please accept mine apology.

There is a lot of programming languages but i found only two usefull, Delphi and Java, Delphi is fast and can do anything in windows and java is perfect in every way, but it may be slow compared to platform dependent languages, but it's no big issue for applications which doesn't need lot of performance when processors has more than GHz

I think this is really best solution, books are like that, if cover has two media first is rotated upside down so you can't determine which is first and which second.
